About the position

The Outbound Lead Specialist position is a 100% outbound role where agents will engage with various marketing leads through calls and emails, aiming to pre-qualify these leads for the sales team. This position is integral to our Government & Public Safety Business, which focuses on providing essential communication devices and systems to public safety agencies and enterprises. Our product portfolio includes Two-Way radios, Body Worn Cameras, In Car Cameras, and Computer Aided Dispatch Systems, all designed to enhance safety and security. As an Outbound Lead Specialist, you will be responsible for building and managing lead development pipelines, qualifying sales leads based on established criteria, and fostering strong business relationships with customers. You will utilize your problem-solving skills to deliver customer-focused solutions and educate customers on our business processes and products. This role requires a proactive approach to understanding Motorola's offerings, competitive products, and market trends through various resources, including training and marketing information. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong ownership of customer issues, ensuring that they drive resolutions that lead to customer satisfaction. You will act as the single point of contact for customers, utilizing internal business tools and applications to effectively qualify and resolve issues while multitasking between systems. This position not only demands excellent communication skills but also a commitment to providing a superior customer experience that sets the stage for future sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage lead development pipelines
  • Qualify all sales leads based upon lead qualification criteria definitions
  • Tactfully and courteously interface with customers to build strong business relationships
  • Proactively utilize strong problem-solving skills to deliver customer-focused solutions
  • Educate customers on respective business processes and procedures
  • Continue to understand Motorola's products & solutions, competitive products, and market knowledge
  • Exhibit strong ownership and follow through on customer issues
  • Act as a single point of contact for customers
  • Utilize internal business tools and applications to effectively qualify and resolve customer issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree OR 1+ years of customer service/sales experience
  • Strong observation and researching skills
  • Google Suite proficiency is a plus but not required
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is beneficial.
