The Marketing Leader at Paul Mitchell The School Albuquerque is responsible for promoting educational opportunities in the beauty industry through various marketing strategies. This role involves collaboration with admissions and sales departments, managing marketing budgets, and engaging with the community to drive enrollment and brand awareness. The Marketing Leader will also oversee digital and print media, social media content, and lead-generating events, ensuring that all marketing efforts align with the school's mission and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in bi-annual meetings with admissions and sales departments to determine the marketing calendar.
  • Delivers monthly download meetings with the School Director to discuss marketing needs.
  • Posts and engages with a weekly blog and online content on social media.
  • Delivers weekly download meetings with the admissions department to support team objectives.
  • Ensures school imagery, website content, and social media are current.
  • Inspects marketing performance and reports to the School Director and/or School Owner.
  • Establishes and manages a yearly marketing budget with adjustments based on campaign performance.
  • Collaborates with vendors to deliver content for online results.
  • Plans and manages lead-generating events such as career fairs and open houses.
  • Tracks leads in the school's management system.
  • Orders and maintains all branded marketing material.
  • Attends all staff meetings and trainings.
  • Ensures all marketing materials follow regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

  • A minimum of three years marketing experience with emphasis in social media and print.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in using the Internet, social media, e-mail, and web platforms.
  • Strong communication skills with multiple departments and networks.
  • Ability to set up and execute a calendar of events with logistical preplanning.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to inspire and inspect.
