About The Position

At Smith+Nephew, we are at a pivotal moment in our company's growth, and we are seeking a talented and experienced Global Marketing Manager (product manager) to join our team. This role is crucial as it involves providing global product development and working closely with global sales leadership, including regional and in-country marketing teams. The Global Marketing Manager will be responsible for gaining insights into local market dynamics, collecting voice of customer feedback, and consolidating this input into the development of the Global Product Plan. This position reports to the Senior Director of Marketing and will assist in developing and driving the Global Product Plan, serving as the Marketing function lead on product development teams as appropriate for the assigned franchise. The Global Marketing Manager will prepare financial analyses and business plans to support new product development programs, capture competitive intelligence, and develop relevant market models to support their assigned product categories. Collaboration with commercial marketing counterparts is essential to develop programs that support the regional selling organizations, including initiatives to drive sales force readiness and achieve revenue targets for the assigned product lines. This role will also involve working closely with the Sr. Director of Marketing and country marketing leads to develop and drive the franchise Global Product Plan, which includes new products, new indications, and claim development. The successful candidate will be involved in budgeted product development projects focusing on advanced technologies, maintaining customer relationships, and managing surgeon consultants while consolidating voice of customer feedback.
