About the position

The Marketing Manager for B2B at Flashfood will lead marketing initiatives aimed at engaging grocery retailers across North America. This role focuses on building brand awareness and generating qualified marketing leads through innovative content, strategic partnerships, and impactful events. The position is crucial for achieving Flashfood's growth targets while promoting sustainability and reducing food waste.

Responsibilities

  • Own and build out a world-class B2B marketing function.
  • Develop a content marketing strategy and production engine that resonates with grocers and drives inbound demand.
  • Create and execute disruptive marketing campaigns aligned with business goals to generate awareness and leads.
  • Build out a roster of top tier agencies and freelancers to augment the internal team.
  • Oversee paid digital campaigns, working closely with freelancers and/or vendors to drive efficiency in SEM, paid social, programmatic and other channels.
  • Build out the B2B CRM strategy and calendar, owning content and segmentation.
  • Develop and own Flashfood's SEO strategy, ensuring quality and relevance.
  • Ensure trackability and visibility on all key metrics, working with data and rev ops resources to ensure necessary dashboards are in place.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute a best-in-class schedule for industry trade shows, vendor showcases, and partner events.
  • Maximize event ROI through pre-event outreach, on-site activations, and post-event follow-ups.
  • Collaborate closely with sales leadership and account management teams to deliver content and materials that delight prospects and partners.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in grocery or retail industries.
  • Proven track record of designing and executing KPI-driven marketing programs that exceed lead generation and sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of ABM (Account-Based Marketing) strategies and hands-on experience with CRMs such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to create content that drives action.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, analytics and A/B testing tools, along with SEO tooling and CMS experience.
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and act on campaign performance metrics.
  • Passion for sustainability and Flashfood's mission of reducing food waste.
