About the position

The Marketing Manager for Business Banking at Bank OZK is responsible for developing and implementing annual marketing strategies aimed at enhancing customer acquisition, growth, and retention within the business banking sector. This role involves collaboration with various teams to ensure effective execution of marketing campaigns and alignment with the bank's overall objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual marketing strategies for general business banking and specialty lines of business.
  • Collaborate with creative, digital marketing, and media teams on content planning and provide strategic guidance on paid marketing initiatives.
  • Manage day-to-day marketing needs of business banking and specialty lines to meet customer acquisition, growth, and retention goals.
  • Ensure on-brand execution of the Marketing strategy for Business Banking that meets deposit, loan, and growth objectives.
  • Manage, coordinate, and execute Business Banking campaigns in-market to optimize overall performance.
  • Provide clear strategic direction and deadline management through creative/project briefs for the internal creative team.
  • Create and execute targeted marketing campaigns for industry-specific services including agricultural lending, small business lending, merchant services, and aviation lending.
  • Collaborate with media planning and digital strategy to optimize campaign and channel performance.
  • Provide strategic input regarding Business Banking promotions and special offers.
  • Conduct ongoing market research to support the marketing leadership team.
  • Support marketing leadership on special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of work experience in marketing, advertising, lending, and/or banking.
  • Knowledge of marketing analytical tools and digital platform systems.
  • Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics.
  • Ability to execute short and long-term B2B marketing initiatives for business products and services.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate results into effective strategies.
  • Ability to develop strong partnerships with line of business leaders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with exacting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
