About the position

The Marketing Manager, CRM at Maplebear Inc. D/B/A Instacart is responsible for developing and managing effective customer relationship management (CRM) programs aimed at engaging Instacart customers. This role involves creating revenue-driving initiatives through various marketing strategies, including automated and personalized communications. The position requires a strong focus on customer experience, data analysis, and campaign management to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage effective CRM programs and related strategies to engage customers.
  • Conceptualize, create, and manage revenue-driving and engagement initiatives using automated and personalized email marketing, push notifications, SMS, and in-app messaging.
  • Develop and improve complex customer experience journeys, triggers, and automations with static and dynamic content.
  • Lead the design of large-scale marketing campaigns, including tests, segmentation, and complex personalization logic, ensuring accurate and timely deployment.
  • Manage CRM initiatives end to end, from strategy and creative approach to requirement gathering and optimization, along with comprehensive reporting and analysis.
  • Develop rigorous incentive and content testing agendas to lead data-driven CRM campaigns aligned with revenue targets and budget requirements.
  • Apply advanced quantitative and analytical skills to continuously evaluate, scale, and improve strategic marketing efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (or foreign equivalent).
  • 2 years of experience in the job offered or related.
  • 2 years of experience creating CRM programs from conception through analysis.
  • 2 years of experience working with complex marketing automation systems like ExactTarget, Braze, or Responsys.
  • 2 years of experience applying knowledge of customer segmentation, list management, deliverability, and CAN-SPAM laws to execute email campaigns.
  • 2 years of experience using SQL, Tableau, or similar to identify opportunities and analyze performance.
  • 2 years of experience developing data-driven marketing initiatives that drive incremental results.
