About the position

The Marketing Manager for Dermatology Professional will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of professional marketing efforts for the dermatology portfolio, including products like Apoquel and Cytopoint. This role focuses on multi-channel marketing initiatives directed at veterinarians to support both immediate and long-term growth of the portfolio, while collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and measure marketing initiatives directed to veterinarians.
  • Lead CRM and Next Gen Sales Engine digital optimization, Trade Show strategy, and Medical Education and Derm Speakers Bureau.
  • Serve as the primary marketing partner to provide materials and programs to the B2B marketing team, Sales Force, and channel partners.
  • Collaborate with Sales Force colleagues to identify insights and opportunities for effective implementation of professional programs.
  • Manage communications with customers, including Account Managers and Senior Management.
  • Monitor and gather key veterinarian insights, competitive activities, and market insights.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver against key strategic priorities.
  • Develop and manage business-critical analyses and dashboards to support marketing activities.
  • Analyze sales and customer data to identify actionable insights and trends.
  • Direct and manage external agencies in the development of marketing campaigns and materials.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of marketing or related experience with demonstrable success.
  • Animal health and veterinary marketing experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Business or a relevant major.
  • Excellent understanding of science-based marketing and the marketing process.
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver best-in-class marketing plans and programs.
  • Demonstrated experience in influencing a team from a key role in a strategic business initiative.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, project management, and computer software skills.
  • Strong financial analysis skills and proven ability to manage budgets and expenses.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in veterinary marketing is a plus.
  • Ability to favorably influence people without direct authority.
  • Strengths in team and relationship building.
