About the position

The Marketing Manager, Digital Catalogs is responsible for leading a team that builds and maintains customer catalogs to drive sales for the Performance Coatings Group (PCG) at Sherwin-Williams. This role focuses on enhancing the digital experience for customers by managing product catalog data and streamlining e-procurement processes. The position requires collaboration across various teams to ensure accurate and consistent product information, ultimately supporting the company's digital goals and improving customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the digital catalog team's efforts for the Performance Coatings Group and manage daily workload.
  • Focus on strategic development of the digital catalog team and prioritize channel partner needs.
  • Maintain customer catalog data in the Sherwin-Williams data management platform.
  • Coordinate product data and content optimization across digital customer experiences.
  • Act as a liaison among key product information contributors and support teams.
  • Organize meetings and coordinate system upgrades with relevant teams.
  • Set goals and objectives for digital catalog team direct reports.
  • Review catalog pricing for accuracy and assist with creation of customer digital product catalogs.
  • Work with third-party procurement system providers to understand data loading requirements.
  • Identify needed enhancements within Stibo STEP, HCL Commerce, and Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Maintain and update catalog data to ensure timely price increases and product changes.
  • Develop and enhance internal tools for SMEs and sales representatives.
  • Collaborate with Digital Merchandising team to ensure effective product merchandising.
  • Communicate merchandising rules and requirements to product specialist team.
  • Collaborate with Content Vendor Portal team to drive product content online.
  • Establish approval dates for catalog uploads with third-party providers.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation for quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, MIS, or e-Business related fields.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in digital catalog development, e-Commerce, or marketing.
  • Experience with B2B procurement systems and software such as Oracle, SAP Ariba, or Coupa.
  • Working knowledge of database technologies and data management best practices.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Stores sales knowledge and experience with point-of-sale (POS/AOM) systems.
  • Experience with National/Strategic Accounts Sales Organization.
  • Knowledge of Performance Coatings divisions and products in a sales or marketing function.
  • Familiarity with Stibo/STEP and Agile development methodology.
