About the position

The Marketing Manager for Digital Recruitment Marketing at Villanova University is responsible for developing and executing integrated digital marketing campaigns aimed at attracting prospective graduate students for a select portfolio of master's programs. This role involves project management, collaboration with internal teams, and analysis of campaign performance to meet enrollment goals. The position requires a strong understanding of digital marketing tools and strategies, as well as a commitment to the university's mission and values.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Digital Recruitment Marketing function by enhancing awareness for master's programs.
  • Provide project management support to the Director of Digital Recruitment Marketing.
  • Develop and optimize lead generation campaigns using digital advertising, social media, and email marketing.
  • Collect and analyze campaign performance data to ensure enrollment goals are met.
  • Manage the development and execution of analytics for recruitment marketing campaigns.
  • Report on digital advertising metrics and overall success of marketing campaigns.
  • Provide marketing, copywriting, editing, and messaging support to the digital recruitment marketing team.
  • Coordinate with University Communication and Marketing functional areas as needed.
  • Assist with other traditional marketing efforts to ensure proper timing and coordination.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
  • 4+ years of relevant professional marketing experience, including writing, research, and project management.
  • Strong writing, interpersonal, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detailed working knowledge of marketing functions, including brand management and digital communications.
  • Proven record of developing and executing strategic marketing plans.
  • Proficient in digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn.
  • Competent in performing online research and using databases.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or English/journalism preferred.
  • Experience in higher education or non-profit environments preferred.
  • Experience with the Slate platform or comparable CRM tools preferred.
  • Experience coordinating photo and video content development.
