About the position

The Marketing Manager for Global Product Licensing at Abercrombie & Fitch plays a vital role in enhancing the brand's market presence and driving business growth through effective management of marketing activities related to global licensing agreements. This position involves collaboration with external licensing partners and internal teams to develop co-branded marketing campaigns, ensuring brand integrity and consistency across various markets. The role is based at the Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio, and includes responsibilities across multiple product categories such as eyewear, kidswear, sunglasses, and underwear.

Responsibilities

  • Manage marketing activities related to global licensing agreements, ensuring brand integrity and consistency across diverse markets.
  • Collaborate with licensing partners to develop and implement co-branded marketing campaigns that resonate with the target audience.
  • Act as a thought-leader to Global Business teams in crafting agreements and onboarding new partners.
  • Conduct ongoing competitor analysis and tracking.
  • Act as the main marketing contact for Global Product Licensing partners.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, advocating on behalf of external partners to craft creative solutions to meet their business needs within brand guardrails.
  • Manage campaign asset coordination and organization between internal cross-functional partners and external partners to ensure all campaign launch dates are met.
  • Clearly communicate global brand marketing plans and initiatives to external partners to ensure they are empowered to translate them to their channels.
  • Responsible for communicating with internal stakeholders, ensuring visibility, and gaining sign-off where relevant.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of global licensing experience, with evidence of having delivered 360° brand campaigns.
  • Strong commercial acumen and Excel skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, multi-channel retail environment.
  • Resilient and comfortable with ambiguity, thriving in a fast-paced, fluid retail environment.
  • Passion for the customer and an innate curiosity.
  • Confidence in presenting and speaking to all levels.
