About the position

The Marketing Manager II, HCP will be instrumental in launching a new therapy for Parkinson's Disease, overseeing the creation and execution of marketing materials and field communications. This role requires collaboration with various cross-functional teams and serves as a strategic partner to the sales force, ensuring effective communication and delivery of brand knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Now Approved/In-Office HCP marketing materials that align with the brand strategy, including field aids and digital selling tools.
  • Serve as the training liaison and deliver exceptional field force communication and engagement activities in collaboration with sales partners.
  • Build expert disease state and brand knowledge to serve as the team's expert on the competitive landscape.
  • Lead print management of all field materials.
  • Partner with medical, legal, and regulatory teams to review and approve promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with MABI to gain insights and understand customer needs.
  • Support and participate in the development of business and marketing plans.
  • Develop robust working relationships with key customers through exceptional communication and partnership practices.
  • Identify and bring innovative opportunities to differentiate the brand and educate providers.
  • Support the development of a robust sales training plan for Launch & POA meetings throughout the year.
  • Collaborate with multiple agencies and external vendors to plan, prioritize, and execute brand tactics while managing the budget.
  • Operate in compliance with all AbbVie internal policies and applicable external regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • BA/BS required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of pharmaceutical industry experience required, with sales or marketing experience preferred.
  • At least 1-2 years of product management experience in direct-to-physician marketing preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to make effective presentations to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work across multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Financial/budgetary experience.
