About the position

The Marketing Manager for Informatics at Abbott Laboratories is responsible for driving global planning and execution of content marketing activities aimed at increasing awareness and engagement among healthcare professionals (HCPs) and patients. This role focuses on establishing foundational capabilities in digital strategy, planning, creation, deployment, and optimization, while collaborating with cross-divisional organizations and managing key agency relationships to meet the objectives of Abbott's digital marketing programs.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and executes the development of content marketing planning and execution capabilities across social, mobile, email, online media and web.
  • Defines the roadmap for division content management tools and processes.
  • Serves as the in-house SME for digital content marketing, ensuring compliance and setting divisional content strategy.
  • Develops and manages templates, assets, and best-practices content development and deployment across the digital ecosystem.
  • Assists in the development of customer journeys for prioritized personas and segmented audiences.
  • Plans and executes inbound content marketing strategies.
  • Derives actionable insights from analytics tools to optimize content, including A/B testing when applicable.
  • Identifies and partners with external and internal KOLs to engage them effectively.
  • Works closely with internal digital peers to ensure governance and platform alignment.
  • Manages media agency and vendor relationships related to content creation and deployment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of related work experience in global digital marketing.
  • At least 6 years of experience executing digital marketing plans, including social media, PPC, SEO, and editorial planning.
  • Deep practical knowledge of digital marketing tools, concepts, and methodologies.
  • Strong writing skills within a regulated industry, particularly healthcare or medical devices.
  • Expertise in Adobe and experience designing and testing digital marketing programs based on analytics insights.
