About the position

The Marketing Manager - Media & Email Strategy at Elevance Health plays a crucial role in the Omnichannel Marketing organization, responsible for leading the planning and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns aimed at consumer engagement and retention. This position requires a results-driven marketer who can navigate ambiguity and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders to optimize marketing strategies based on business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop consumer-centric performance marketing strategies for member acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and retention.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance marketing campaigns through planning, forecasting, optimization, and reporting.
  • Provide strategic direction to Campaign Management and Operations teams for comprehensive journey strategies.
  • Lead the development of multi-channel marketing campaigns in partnership with the Campaign Management team.
  • Develop test & learn agendas with a viable measurement approach.
  • Educate stakeholders about marketing campaign capabilities to maximize consumer engagement.
  • Ensure campaigns are planned and executed on time by being detail-oriented.
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing capabilities and processes for future campaigns.
  • Partner with Marketing Strategists to define optimal measurement approaches and lead performance forecasts.
  • Provide actionable insights to stakeholders beyond standard KPIs, showcasing business impact and consumer behavior understanding.
  • Communicate objectives, strategies, and performance results effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and cultivate excellent relationships with business partners and marketing leaders.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to analyze opportunities and present objectives to leadership effectively.
  • Strategic and business-forward approach to marketing.
  • Results-oriented with a hands-on attitude to drive key business outcomes.
  • Exceptional project management skills.
  • Experience in traditional and digital media.

Nice-to-haves

  • Healthcare marketing experience.
  • Experience with both B2B and B2C audiences.
  • Background in the healthcare industry, financial services, or ad agency experience.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization.
