About the position

The Marketing Manager for Paid Social Acquisition at G-P is responsible for defining and owning the global paid media social strategy. This role involves overseeing the execution of campaigns, transitioning campaign management in-house, and ensuring high performance metrics are met. The position requires a data-driven approach to optimize efficiency and return on ad spend (ROAS) across various paid media channels, while also promoting a culture of development and learning within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the paid media social strategy globally
  • Partner with paid social stakeholders to establish a best-in-class approach to paid social
  • Oversee the execution of campaigns, including content creation and creative production oversight
  • Transition the company's paid social campaign management from an agency to in-house
  • Accountable for key paid media performance metrics
  • Apply a data-driven approach to explore opportunities for automation and optimization
  • Build and develop strong relationships with platform partners like LinkedIn and Meta
  • Ensure platform hygiene is maintained to a gold standard
  • Localize content per region as needed (APAC & EMEA)
  • Challenge assumptions about performance and use data to validate
  • Improve audience targeting and performance
  • Identify and test innovative opportunities
  • Present performance data and strategies to senior stakeholders

Requirements

  • 6+ years' demonstrable hands-on experience in Paid Social (Meta & LinkedIn essential)
  • Experience in social-adjacent digital paid channels such as podcasts and OTT is a bonus
  • Experience with tools like Business Manager, Looker/Google Data Studio, Airtable, Emplifi, HubSpot, Salesforce, and 6sense
  • Proven experience managing budgets exceeding $1m/year
  • Strong commercial acumen and results-driven approach
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and mathematical skills with attention to detail
  • Motivated self-starter with ambition and curiosity
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse personalities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
