About the position

The Marketing Manager at Amgen plays a crucial role in managing copay and coinsurance programs that provide patient cost-sharing assistance. This position involves developing and implementing strategies for copay programs, collaborating with vendors, and creating resources for healthcare providers and patients. The Marketing Manager will also evaluate opportunities across the Patient Support Program (PSP) portfolio and manage key performance indicators to ensure program effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Manage copay and coinsurance programs that provide patient cost-sharing assistance, including method of grant issuance.
  • Assist in development and implementation of copay program strategies.
  • Collaborate with Hub vendor in establishing SOPs for patient affordability support service offerings.
  • Develop copay program resources, including trainings.
  • Create tools and training materials for HCPs, patients, and caregivers.
  • Coordinate functional plan and calendar management for brand planning.
  • Submit marketing materials for copay programs, including trainings.
  • Serve as an advisor for Copay Program Support for every brand.
  • Evaluate opportunities across the entire PSP portfolio.
  • Lead connectivity to other affordability solutions.
  • Manage Key Performance Indicators and dashboard metrics.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree or Master's degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization.
  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization.
  • Associate's Degree and 8 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization.
  • High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA (or equivalent, e.g., PharmD).
  • Experience in pharmaceutical product launch planning and execution.
  • Experience in rare disease, particularly in rheumatology and/or gastroenterology.
  • Previous experience with infused medicines and understanding of buy and bill dynamics.
  • Experience working with multiple projects and managing multiple external vendors.
