About the position

The Marketing Manager for Royal Canin North America is responsible for leading and executing marketing and demand creation strategies across various channels for the supplements and treats portfolio. This role focuses on co-developing marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and competitive advantage, particularly for product launches in North America. The position reports to the Head of Global Activation & Category Growth and has a dotted line to the US Portfolio Marketing Lead.

Responsibilities

  • Drive collaboration with Global & local Innovation leads to deploy a North America-centric portfolio based on local market insights.
  • Act as the central point of contact for the supplements and treats portfolio in North America, demonstrating flexibility in stakeholder management.
  • Make demand creation and innovation recommendations, co-creating competitive go-to-market strategies with local and global teams.
  • Deliver and launch best-in-class activation packages and an Activation roadmap for the North American portfolio on time and in full.
  • Lead transversal projects with relevant stakeholders, showcasing experience in customer needs, pricing strategies, and financial P&L management.
  • Codify key elements for success into global activation best practice principles to enrich the global marketing strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, Finance or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 4+ years' marketing experience, with brand management, innovation, and strategic marketing experience.
  • Previous experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) preferred.
  • Proven track record of delivering market growth strategies and activations.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to influence and motivate at all levels within the business.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Good analytical capabilities to identify issues and implement change.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in stakeholder management at local, regional, and global levels.
  • Knowledge of the Mars Pet Nutrition network.
