The Marketing Manager - Social Media at SD Wheel Corp is a pivotal role within the Marketing Department, responsible for leading a dynamic team of videographers and graphic designers to create engaging and viral content across various social media platforms. This position is essential for the continued development and growth of the company's brands, aiming to establish them as leaders in the industry. The Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with customer service, marketing, and procurement teams to ensure that the division's branding efforts are cohesive and impactful. In this role, the Marketing Manager will utilize key management toolkits to develop comprehensive marketing plans and campaign outlines. They will review standard work and checklists to ensure that the content produced meets the highest quality standards and is delivered on time. The content created will be distributed through all major social media channels, fostering strong engagement with customers and enhancing brand visibility. Additionally, the Marketing Manager will provide daily coaching and support to the team, focusing on problem-solving and skill development. They will track team progress through daily metrics and ensure that the team is meeting performance expectations. This role requires a blend of creativity, leadership, and analytical skills to drive the success of social media marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation of viral content, concepts, and campaigns.
  • Oversee the team through daily/weekly production schedules.
  • Monitor social engagements, site visits, sales, and other key driver metrics, reacting with performance solutions when metrics are not met.
  • Track team efficiencies and progress through weekly metrics.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing VP on the implementation of monthly marketing plans to align with divisional strategies.
  • Establish new relationships with wheel, tire, and suspension companies for marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers on social media initiatives.
  • Coordinate inbound/outbound products for filming and photography as needed.
  • Reach out to industry contacts for new products and opportunities.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree.
  • Associate's Degree in marketing or related field preferred.
  • 2-10 years of social media marketing experience.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Creativity, customer focus, and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
