About the position

The Marketing Manager for Social Media at Janie and Jack LLC is responsible for executing and managing the brand's organic social media channels. This role involves developing and executing social media strategies and campaigns that align with the company's seasonal storytelling and commercial planning. The ideal candidate will leverage their social media expertise to enhance brand presence, engage with followers, and collaborate with various teams to ensure a cohesive marketing approach.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute and manage social media strategy and marketing campaigns across various social channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and TikTok.
  • Work closely with design, merchants, web, and email teams to ensure an integrated marketing approach.
  • Curate the brand's Instagram content, utilizing photography and graphics from seasonal campaigns and user-generated content.
  • Collaborate with copy and design partners to execute on social media strategy.
  • Project manage creative teams to plan content and ensure timely delivery of assets.
  • Assist with content creation, including video editing and photo cropping.
  • Schedule, create tracking links, and manually post social content as needed, including weekends.
  • Curate a user-generated content library for email and social media.
  • Engage with followers' comments on social media channels, collaborating with customer service to enhance customer experience.
  • Create weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly social media recaps highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide recommendations for improving social media marketing strategies based on analysis of effectiveness.
  • Research competitors and industry leaders in social media, keeping an eye on trends and technologies.
  • Foster relationships with digital influencers to support social media marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Manage paid influencer agency campaigns from briefs to content approvals and reporting.
  • Coordinate product requests for influencers and manage influencer expenses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of social media marketing experience, preferably with corporate brands or agencies.
  • Strong proficiency with social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Google Analytics, and Facebook Business Manager.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills for building relationships.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Portfolio required when submitting resume.
