About the position

The Marketing Manager, Software at Elekta is responsible for driving marketing programs for the company's software products. This role involves marketing planning and tactical execution to enhance the customer journey from awareness to advocacy. Key responsibilities include product launches, pricing, positioning, marketing communications, lead generation, and field support, with a focus on product line performance and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Create a marketing plan with comprehensive engagement programs to communicate the features, advantages, and benefits of Elekta Software.
  • Consolidate Voice of Customer (VOC) needs in collaboration with Sales, Business Development, and Service teams.
  • Develop market segmentation and tailored messaging for each identified segment using market data and intelligence sources.
  • Liaise with product and portfolio management to influence product roadmap development.
  • Execute market product launches in North America in collaboration with Global Marketing.
  • Collaborate with Global Marketing and Sales vertical team members on competitive positioning and market development.
  • Work with field teams to identify customer champions and develop reference sites.
  • Collaborate with software Sales vertical lead to design and execute unbundled product sales strategy.
  • Provide market and competitive analysis to understand trends affecting product success.
  • Oversee trade show activities and messaging related to linac and QA products.
  • Implement sales promotions to drive market share and adoption.
  • Support training of local Sales staff and other key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Marketing or relevant training.
  • Working knowledge of radiotherapy equipment, linear accelerators, and associated QA equipment.
  • Excellent business acumen with a track record of driving profitability and growth.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with a strategic business approach.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional/global settings.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate technical messaging.
  • Strong commercial mentality to establish credibility with sales and management.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and lead multi-disciplined, high-performing teams.
  • High energy, persistence, and a self-starter attitude.
