About the position

The Marketing Manager - Web and Graphics Design will lead the visual design and branding strategy for the organization. This role emphasizes creativity and attention to detail, requiring the candidate to create visually appealing designs that effectively communicate the brand message across various platforms. The position involves collaboration with marketing and internal stakeholders to develop engaging content that resonates with the target audience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee MGFA's website design, updates, and overall functionality, ensuring content aligns with brand and mission.
  • Design and produce high-quality digital and print assets such as brochures, reports, email campaigns, event materials, and social media content.
  • Refine brand identity across all digital and physical materials, ensuring consistency and brand alignment.
  • Manage the ideation, planning, and implementation of creative projects from concept to delivery, coordinating closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee deadline-driven projects, ensuring timely and quality-focused delivery of all assets.
  • Conduct thorough testing of web pages, emails, and marketing collateral to uphold consistency and quality standards.
  • Regularly compile and present success metrics and reports on design project outcomes, using tools such as Google Analytics and WordPress SEO.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, ideally with a focus on design, marketing, or web development.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in web and graphic design.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Fireworks, and HTML/CSS, with experience in website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
  • Demonstrated strength in managing projects, timelines, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to create compelling written content and manage project plans effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with online fundraising and marketing automation platforms such as Virtuous, Blackbaud Luminate, or Convio is a plus.
  • Ability to deliver excellent service to internal stakeholders, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Readiness to respond to change, address challenges, and proactively solve problems.
