About the position

The Marketing Manager at Gaylor Electric is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and market share within the construction industry. This role requires a creative and analytical thinker who can manage marketing campaigns across various channels while ensuring brand consistency. The Marketing Manager will also lead a team of marketing coordinators and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the company's marketing objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an overall marketing and brand strategy for the company.
  • Create marketing action plans that clearly define objectives, goals, schedules, and assignments to achieve targeted opportunities.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies to increase brand awareness and market share within the construction industry.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, email, and traditional advertising, tailored to the construction sector.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for growth.
  • Represent the company at various community and business meetings to promote the Gaylor Electric brand.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, sales, and design, to ensure brand alignment.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Manage the brand's budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and promotional content specific to construction projects.
  • Maintain brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, such as agencies and vendors.
  • Define and/or update the key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to marketing efforts, tracking success towards those goals, and providing accurate stakeholder and executive team updates.
  • Lead a team of marketing coordinators in support of the organization's marketing objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in brand management or marketing roles, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Proven experience of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated success in managing a marketing department supporting a rapidly growing business enterprise.
