About the position
As a Marketing Manager at Whippy, you will be responsible for driving the brand's growth and inbound sales channels. This role is pivotal as you will be the first marketing hire, creating the framework for scaling marketing efforts while also being an individual contributor. You will develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance productivity and efficiency through Whippy's all-in-one SMS, Email, and Voice platform.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead Marketing Strategy by developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive qualified inbound sales.
- Create compelling, SEO-optimized content for the website, blogs, and other marketing channels to drive qualified leads.
- Transition to overseeing content strategy and delegating content creation to external writers as the marketing function grows.
- Create customer success stories, white papers, infographics, webinars, and other data-driven content to drive leads for the outbound sales team.
- Develop and execute targeted email marketing campaigns, analyzing performance and optimizing strategies.
- Jump start organic social media presence on platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, and X.
- Optimize Whippy's presence at industry trade shows, including booth setup and marketing materials, while serving as a Whippy expert to attendees.
Requirements
- At least 2+ years in a marketing role within the SaaS industry with a proven track record of driving qualified inbound sales leads.
- Experience working with revenue-based KPIs.
- Strong skills in Excel and website analytics tools (such as Google Optimize, Mixpanel).
- Solid understanding of SEO best practices and proficiency in using tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Sales to establish growth strategies.
