About the position

The US Marketing Manager is a newly created role at ASOS, essential for driving brand development in the North American market. This hybrid position combines brand management, integrated planning, campaign execution, and social community management. The role focuses on translating ASOS into a culturally relevant brand in the US through compelling campaigns and content, aligning with the North American team's vision and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the US marketing calendar to align content and communications across various touchpoints (site, CRM, social, paid).
  • Develop communications and messaging strategies that translate product and fashion priorities into customer-facing messages, considering consumer mindset and local culture.
  • Write high-quality briefs that support paid talent streams and the in-house creative function in developing creative strategies and crafting world-class creative across various marketing channels.
  • Manage ASOS US TikTok handle, including posting, commenting, and messaging to support brand building efforts.
  • Define brand strategies, positioning strategies, and brand plans for the US market.
  • Support the development and implementation of the annual marketing plan for the North American region, based on business objectives, global brand strategy, and local market insights.
  • Coordinate all marketing campaigns and initiatives across multiple channels and platforms, ensuring consistency, quality, and impact.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the central marketing team, regional operations teams, media and creative agencies, and key partners and influencers.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities and partnerships to enhance brand awareness, reputation, and growth in the region.
  • Champion Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies within the company.

Requirements

  • Marketing experience, preferably within the fashion space.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field; experience in social media and copywriting is a plus.
  • Experience writing marketing and creative briefs with a proven track record for creating effective campaigns that meet business objectives.
  • Experience building and managing an integrated marketing calendar.
  • Strong understanding of the Gen Z consumer and the intersection between fashion and culture.
  • Ability to learn quickly and make an impact in a new business environment.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with constant change, and able to work independently in areas of ambiguity.
  • Analytical and commercially minded.
