About the position

The Marketing Manager at Luddites is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance the company's catalog and online presence. This role involves managing catalog schedules, curating mailing lists, coordinating with printers, and analyzing marketing performance to drive sales in both traditional and e-commerce channels. The Marketing Manager will also oversee social media platforms and email marketing campaigns, ensuring effective communication and engagement with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute a catalog schedule and strategy.
  • Curate mailing lists for each catalog.
  • Coordinate with printers and mailing list providers, understanding deadlines for mailing lists and artwork, and submitting all required items on time.
  • Participate in the product curation process.
  • Analyze catalog performance and report results.
  • Create and execute an online marketing strategy.
  • Create, grow, and maintain social media platforms.
  • Create email marketing campaigns and newsletters, reporting results.
  • Manage Graphic Designer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within retail or e-commerce.
  • Proven experience in designing and distributing catalogs.
  • Strong knowledge of online marketing strategies and tools.
  • Excellent budget management and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools, including design and analytics platforms.
  • Intermediate level of data analysis and Excel skills required.
  • Shopify experience a plus.
  • E-commerce experience a plus.
  • Ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and see them through to successful completion.
