About the position

The Marketing Manager at JLL is responsible for leading the marketing efforts of the Philadelphia Mills property, focusing on implementing local marketing and event initiatives while building community relationships. This role involves developing and managing marketing strategies to support the property's strategic goals, ensuring effective use of marketing platforms, and maximizing client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, monitoring and adjusting as needed to meet projections.
  • Analyze sales and statistical data, financial reporting, and manage public relations and media buying.
  • Create the annual marketing plan based on the center's strategic goals.
  • Execute sales promotions, special events, and communication strategies to drive tenant sales.
  • Establish partnerships with tenants to maximize store sales through promotions and merchandising.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Marketing Manager to implement corporate programs.
  • Manage digital media programs including social media and web.
  • Utilize market research to develop the marketing plan and support leasing efforts.
  • Compile information and create sales materials to support leasing efforts.
  • Maintain knowledge of the trade area, competitive properties, and customer demographics.
  • Develop local and corporate income opportunities with Specialty Leasing.
  • Review monthly sales reports to track retailer sales and trends.
  • Engage in community activities to represent the property and JLL.
  • Develop a public relations action plan and track publicity.
  • Complete special assignments as directed by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years in retail, marketing, advertising or comparable business experience required.
  • 1-2 years retail experience preferred.
  • Event planning experience preferred.
  • Experience promoting events through social media.

Nice-to-haves

  • Shopping center experience preferred but not required.
  • Sponsorships/revenue generation experience preferred.
