About the position

The Marketing Manager at Ryan Consulting Group will play a crucial role in partnering with newly acquired Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) to develop and implement marketing programs aimed at achieving significant organic growth in Assets Under Management (AUM) and accelerating revenue growth. This position requires a strategic thinker who can navigate the complexities of financial services marketing while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leadership to define and articulate the RIA's unique value proposition, ideal client profile, and marketing strategy within 30 days of acquisition.
  • Develop and execute targeted marketing strategies, including paid search/social campaigns, events, PR/media, SEO, website management, and content creation.
  • Ensure marketing efforts align with regulatory requirements, particularly in relation to SEC compliance for financial services.
  • Create and manage marketing plans, including stakeholder roles and responsibilities.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
  • Rotate between assigned RIAs, supporting their growth and adapting to the unique needs of each business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.
  • Proven experience in lead generation and research.
  • Experience in financial services marketing - preferably wealth management.
  • Strong skills in performance marketing, data analysis, and HTML.
  • Proficiency in social media marketing, marketing automation, and copywriting.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proven experience accelerating lead generation in a B2C environment, particularly marketing to high-net worth individuals.
  • Familiarity with financial services marketing regulations.
  • Experience building and scaling marketing programs, working across a range of initiatives from SEO to paid campaigns.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and clearly communicate marketing strategies to various levels of an organization.
