The Marketing Manager at Marriott is responsible for promoting on-brand messaging to customers through various channels, including traditional, digital, and social media, with the aim of driving revenue and supporting hotel goals. This role involves developing and executing marketing strategies, managing internal and external communications, and collaborating with regional teams to ensure effective integration of marketing efforts. The Marketing Manager also focuses on building partnerships, enhancing brand awareness, and analyzing campaign performance to optimize marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes on-brand messaging through various media channels to drive revenue.
  • Builds direct marketing plans and targeted campaigns to increase market share.
  • Liaises with regional eCommerce and Marketing teams to integrate marketing efforts.
  • Develops and executes marketing strategies aligned with hotel goals.
  • Manages internal and external communication, including digital presence and social media.
  • Activates marketing opportunities through partnerships and third-party sites.
  • Reports on campaign performance to Sales, Marketing & Revenue Management leadership.

Requirements

  • 2-year degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related major and 4 years of experience in sales, marketing, or related area; hospitality marketing experience preferred.
  • OR 4-year bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or related major; 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or related area; hospitality marketing experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in hospitality marketing or digital advertising agency.
  • Strong negotiation skills with internal and external partners.
