About the position

The Marketing Manager at American Bicycle Group is a full-time role focused on developing and executing marketing strategies for cycling and triathlon products. The position requires a tactical operator with a strong background in project management and a passion for the cycling industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing go-to-market strategies, managing promotional campaigns, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance brand visibility and authority.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new and existing products.
  • Develop compelling product positioning, messaging, and value propositions.
  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns across managed marketing channels to ensure sales objectives are met.
  • Craft engaging and persuasive copy for marketing materials, product descriptions, and promotional content.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics in the cycling and triathlon sectors.
  • Collaborate with product development, sales, and customer service teams to ensure cohesive and effective strategies.
  • Build and maintain the authority, relevance, and trust of our brands within the cycling and triathlon communities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 3 years experience using project management best practices and technology to enable teams to deliver results on time.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Proven experience in marketing and product management, preferably in the cycling or triathlon industry.

Nice-to-haves

  • Passion for cycling and/or triathlon.
  • Previous experience in building and executing successful go-to-market strategies.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels and e-commerce platforms.
