About the position

The Marketing Manager at DN Solutions America Corporation is responsible for executing the company's marketing strategy and managing various advertising and marketing activities. This role focuses on communications and requires close collaboration with advertising agencies, media contacts, and internal departments. The position is based in Schaumburg, IL, and reports to the Director of Marketing, playing a crucial role in shaping the marketing direction of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Establish strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
  • Develop and execute marketing programs to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives.
  • Plan and oversee promotional activities including print, electronic media, trade shows, and direct mail.
  • Negotiate contract terms with outside agencies and suppliers, gaining necessary approvals from Senior Management.
  • Communicate with outside advertising agencies on ongoing campaigns.
  • Manage the development, production, and distribution of promotional materials to support sales and marketing programs.
  • Analyze marketing programs and adjust strategies to increase effectiveness.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for increased sales.
  • Maintain customer database and approve the use of mailing lists.
  • Provide post-event reports and regular status reports on marketing programs.
  • Plan, promote, and execute sales meetings, trade shows, and goodwill events.
  • Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image across product lines and promotional materials.
  • Direct and develop all communications, advertising, and promotional strategies.
  • Manage departmental budget and new product market launches.
  • Support Digital Marketing Manager with sponsorships and communicate with the North America Dealer Network.
  • Oversee creative development and manage PR programs.
  • Manage data reporting to industry associations and maintain promotional goods program.

Requirements

  • University graduate or higher education in Business, Management, Marketing, or Advertising.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the machine tool or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Machine Tool Industry.
  • Excellent marketing and management skills.
  • Good communication skills and basic financial skills.
  • Willingness to be hands-on.
