About the position

The Social Media & Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving brand awareness for a leading global technology-focused venture capital firm. This role emphasizes storytelling and engagement through various marketing capabilities, particularly in content and social media. The manager will work cross-functionally to achieve marketing objectives by ensuring high-quality content aligns with brand guidelines and organizational values.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the firm's social media accounts, including Twitter and LinkedIn, to enhance brand visibility.
  • Oversee organic and paid social media efforts, including copywriting and editorial calendar management.
  • Manage key investors' personal social media accounts to amplify their brand platforms.
  • Provide guidance on social media best practices and community management support.
  • Analyze budget and performance metrics to optimize ROI on social media spend.
  • Develop compelling content across various channels, including blogs, newsletters, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to cross-promote content effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational values and guidelines in all external content.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in social media, content creation, and marketing within the venture capital/tech ecosystem.
  • Experience in developing LinkedIn and Twitter strategies, including copywriting and campaign planning.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and content marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency with social media and project management tools like HubSpot, Monday.com, and WordPress.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.
