About the position

As a Marketing Operations Analyst at DigiCert, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing data-driven decision-making within our marketing team. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain interactive dashboards that provide insights into marketing performance. This involves ensuring data accuracy and reliability through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes. You will create various visualizations, including charts, graphs, and tables, to effectively represent data and facilitate discussions with internal stakeholders regarding campaign performance and asset effectiveness. In this role, you will regularly engage with internal stakeholders to understand their data needs and address their feedback. You will facilitate data-based discussions that assess the performance of marketing campaigns and assets, ensuring that the marketing team is equipped with the insights necessary to make informed decisions. Your expertise in dashboard design and development will enable you to create interactive dashboards with drilldown capabilities, filters, and parameters, allowing users to explore data dynamically. Additionally, you will be responsible for the quality assurance of the dashboards, conducting regular testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data presented. Documentation will also be a key aspect of your role, as you will need to document the dashboard design, data sources, and relevant processes to maintain clarity and consistency in data reporting. You will also be tasked with preparing and cleaning data for visualization, ensuring that the information is both accurate and relevant to the marketing team's objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain interactive dashboards; prepare data and ensure data hygiene.
  • Create various types of visualizations such as charts, graphs, and tables to represent the data.
  • Conduct regular testing to ensure accuracy and reliability of the dashboards' data and functionality.
  • Regularly meet with internal stakeholders to understand their data needs and address their feedback.
  • Facilitate data-based discussions regarding the performance of a campaign or asset.
  • Build and maintain interactive dashboards with drilldown capabilities, filters, and parameters.
  • Document the dashboard design, data sources, and any relevant processes.
  • Clean, transform, and prepare the data for visualization to ensure accuracy and relevance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with Excel (VBA, pivot tables, advanced calculations, data visualizations).
  • Proficient in SQL.
  • Ability to scope data ingestion requirements for ETL.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Eloqua, Google Analytics, and other marketing analytics tools.
