About the position

Avetta's Marketing Operations Analyst role is pivotal in providing accurate analysis and insights to the Marketing Leadership team, acting as a trusted advisor. This position is designed for individuals who can challenge conventional thinking and offer innovative solutions to enhance marketing performance. The analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining Key Performance Indicator (KPI) packages that measure marketing effectiveness, lead performance, and return on investment. This includes evaluating the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and performance against set targets. The role requires a proactive approach to identify gaps in current reporting packages and to communicate actionable insights derived from regular reporting. In addition to reporting, the Marketing Operations Analyst will drive process improvements to enhance data integrity and reporting accuracy. This involves managing data output from marketing automation tools and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales Operations, Product Marketing, and Product, to optimize lead conversion and revenue generation. A strong customer-service orientation is essential, as the analyst will ensure timely and quality solutions to customer issues. The role also includes completing ad hoc analyses for marketing leadership and executives, requiring the ability to handle multiple projects and self-identify areas for further analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Marketing Leadership team by providing accurate analysis and insights.
  • Develop and maintain KPI packages to measure marketing and lead performance, including evaluation of marketing campaign effectiveness.
  • Communicate actionable takeaways and insights from regular reporting and newly developed KPI packages.
  • Drive process improvement to manage data output from marketing automation tools and CRM for better data integrity and reporting accuracy.
  • Partner with cross-functional groups within Marketing, Sales Operations, Product Marketing, and Product to optimize lead conversion and revenue.
  • Maintain a strong customer-service orientation and commitment to timely, quality solutions to customer issues.
  • Complete ad hoc analysis for marketing leadership and executives as needed.

Requirements

  • Advanced level proficiency with Excel.
  • High level of attention to detail and data accuracy focus.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and team-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Marketo, and Tableau.
  • Ability to synthesize large quantities of disparate data and generate compelling and actionable recommendations to C-Suite executives.
  • BS/BA in Business Administration (Finance/Accounting/Economics) or other relevant degree.
  • 3+ years relevant experience in Marketing Operations, Sales Operations, or Consulting, preferably in a SaaS environment.
