About the position

The Marketing Operations Analyst at Sumo Logic plays a crucial role in optimizing and executing marketing campaigns and operations. This position is designed for an individual who can take full operational ownership of integrated campaigns and the tech stack, collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance processes and develop new strategies. The role requires a strong data-driven mindset and a passion for driving efficiency and problem-solving within a high-visibility team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in defining and upholding marketing operations process strategy and execution.
  • Continually suggest improvements for scaled program templates.
  • Fulfill marketing automation requests from internal customers, including emails, nurture campaigns, tradeshows, webinars, and events.
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team to track, test, and evolve program effectiveness.
  • Work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders across the Sumo Marketing team.
  • Refine and troubleshoot issues within the tech stack, data integrity, and data management.
  • Support daily operational tasks related to execution governance, database management, and program execution.
  • Document business processes, customer journeys, and expected outcomes, including mapping data and automation solutions capabilities.
  • Enable internal colleagues on the usage of systems as needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in marketing operations or a similar role.
  • Experience in Marketo, Asana, Salesforce, Sheets/Excel, 6sense, GA4.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passion for working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment under tight deadlines.
  • Avid attention to detail and strong project management skills, with Agile project management experience being a plus.
  • Strong relationship and team-building skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with other MarTech solutions such as direct mail, chat, enrichment, Outreach, SplashThat, Rampmetrics, Hockeystack, reporting/attribution.

  • Base salary range of $91,000 - $122,000.
