About the position

As the Marketing Operations Associate Manager, you will be responsible for the effective management and support of critical marketing tools that enable the planning and production of marketing and Best Buy's Retail Media Network. You will be leveraged heavily in the continued development of source system technologies, serving as the system expert. You will translate business needs to the tech teams by providing requirements for tool development, test functionality, and support process and training. You are a primary resource for questions and troubleshooting as it relates to the marketing tools. This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days on site at a Best Buy location and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Define project goals, tool enhancements and test functionality based on business needs
  • Responsible for documentation for standard operating procedures in support of training which may include demos and facilitation
  • Communicate updates, access change impacts and support rollout of technologies and ongoing enhancements from maintenance to optimization
  • Administrative contributor for tool maintenance
  • Effectively secures alignment on action plans and resolves issues by leveraging organizational knowledge; builds and nurtures relationships with a network of contacts

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in content management systems/tools or related disciplines
  • 3+ years of experience in quick-turn, high volume environment
  • Experience leading projects, conducting training or similar

Nice-to-haves

  • Salesforce, Adobe/Workfront or similar marketing/advertising business management tool experience
  • Demonstrated experience with intaking stakeholder needs and identifying ways to infuse new bodies of work into existing business systems
  • Experience in the marketing/advertising sector
  • Retail and national brand experience preferred
  • Associate degree or equivalent industry experience
