About the position

The Marketing / Operations Director at the Clay Florida Economic Development Corporation is responsible for fostering relationships with stakeholders to enhance the quality of life in Clay County. This role involves implementing strategic marketing initiatives, overseeing operational efficiencies, and managing various marketing and operational tasks to support economic development efforts. The position requires a high level of integrity and professionalism, as it interacts with the public, community organizations, and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the creation, implementation, and distribution of internal and external marketing materials.
• Organize four annual luncheons/workshop events for 150+ attendees.
• Engage with Board members and investors to foster relationships.
• Manage office operations and accounting tasks.
• Prepare and manage State grant submissions for economic development opportunities.
• Prepare a monthly newsletter for investors.
• Support the President as needed.

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficient in virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom, Teams, Webex, etc.
• Proficient in Adobe Suite - specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online.
• BA/BS degree in Communications, Marketing, Operations, Business, or equivalent work experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Salesforce, Dropbox, or similar programs.
• Strong graphic design skills.
