About the position

The Marketing Operations Manager, Growth & Analytics at ZipRecruiter is responsible for the strategic, operational, and budget management of marketing channels aimed at driving traffic acquisition and optimizing digital marketing campaigns. This role requires a strong analytical background to leverage data-driven decisions, manage partnerships, and present performance metrics to executive teams. The position emphasizes ownership of marketing projects and the development of measurement systems to track key performance indicators.

Responsibilities

• Drive traffic acquisition and manage digital marketing campaigns across various platforms such as SEM, Facebook, and display/RTB.
• Implement robust measurement and attribution systems to track and optimize performance against key performance indicators.
• Analyze raw data to extract actionable insights using advanced SQL skills for in-depth analysis.
• Transform analytical findings into compelling executive narratives and reports.
• Advise on the application and development of digital marketing technologies, including cookies and click tracking.
• Take full ownership of marketing projects and strive to become the go-to expert in supported marketing channels.

Requirements

• 7+ years experience in relevant media buying/ad-tech/publisher network management.
• 4+ years of experience creating queries and analysis with data tools like MySQL, Postgres, Databricks, etc.
• Deep knowledge of data structures and attribution models.

Nice-to-haves

• 6+ years of experience creating queries and analysis with data tools like MySQL, Postgres, Databricks, etc.
• BS/MS in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to be self-sufficient in analytical endeavors.
