About the position

As a Marketing Operations Manager on the Growth Systems team at Verkada, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through innovative marketing operations. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and are passionate about leveraging technology to optimize marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for owning the systems and processes that power our marketing initiatives, ensuring that they are efficient, scalable, and aligned with our overall business objectives. Your work will directly impact the effectiveness of our demand generation efforts and the overall success of the marketing team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with various departments, including executives, operations, engineering, analytics, brand, and sales. Your primary focus will be on improving marketing campaigns, prioritizing projects, and ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned. You will serve as the point person for all demand generation campaign operations and new implementations, obsessing over the lead ingestion and lifecycle processes to maximize the efficiency of every lead. This includes ensuring proper follow-up by sales and driving innovative solutions to enhance lead scoring, nurturing, and MQL threshold initiatives. You will also be responsible for building advanced automations using platforms such as Workato, AWS, and Retool, integrating them with existing sales and marketing platforms like Marketo and Salesforce. Your goal will be to achieve a higher level of operational efficiency and ensure that everything within your sphere of influence is completely automated and designed for scale. Additionally, you will track, test, and analyze data related to campaign metrics to continuously improve and optimize our marketing programs.

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally with executives, operations, engineering, analytics, brand, and sales to improve marketing campaigns and ensure alignment.
  • Serve as the point person for all demand generation campaign operations and new implementations.
  • Manage lead ingestion and lifecycle processes to maximize lead efficiency and ensure proper follow-up by sales.
  • Partner with data science and engineering to enhance lead scoring, nurturing, and MQL threshold initiatives.
  • Build advanced automations using platforms like Workato, AWS, and Retool to integrate with sales and marketing platforms such as Marketo and Salesforce.
  • Ensure all operations within your influence are automated and designed for scalability.
  • Track, test, and analyze campaign metrics to improve and optimize marketing programs.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Marketing/Sales/Revenue Operations experience.
  • Advanced knowledge in Marketo & SFDC or similar marketing technology stack.
  • Strong familiarity with marketing initiatives including lead ingestion through website forms, API webhooks, and lead gen forms.
  • Experience with SQL, ETL/data pipelines, Excel, and BI Tools (Looker or equivalent) for querying data sets.
  • Impeccable analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to operationalize campaign management at scale across multiple locales.
  • Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • Experience working autonomously in a fast-moving startup or hyper-growth environment.
