About the position

The Marketing Operations Manager at Tyndale is responsible for leveraging CRM tools, particularly HubSpot, to enhance digital marketing efforts across the organization. This role involves strategic management of marketing initiatives, overseeing lead generation campaigns, and ensuring data quality and hygiene. The position also includes mentoring a team, developing training for CRM tools, and utilizing analytics to inform marketing strategies. The role offers a hybrid work schedule after an initial training period, allowing flexibility between home and office work.

Responsibilities

  • Strategize and manage the usage of the CRM tool for digital marketing projects.
  • Collaborate with teams to coordinate marketing initiatives using HubSpot.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound lead generation campaigns.
  • Identify KPIs for the marketing operations team to enhance consumer journey experience.
  • Develop marketing automation to increase engagement and efficiency.
  • Manage subscription centers, lists, workflows, and templates.
  • Monitor and implement data hygiene and quality best practices.
  • Mentor, coach, and lead direct reports in their expertise.
  • Develop training for the CRM tool specific to marketing needs.
  • Support the digital marketing & sales team in executing email campaigns.
  • Monitor analytics and implement a reporting process for campaigns.
  • Oversee corporate grant and paid Google Ad strategy.
  • Utilize Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager for tracking and insights.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends in the digital landscape.
  • Manage responsibilities and professional development of the marketing operations team.

Requirements

  • College degree in marketing or business.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in book marketing.
  • Knowledge of a wide range of digital marketing techniques and concepts.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms, especially HubSpot.
  • Experience with website analytics and deriving actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional project and time management skills.
  • Proficient in computer skills including email, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in book marketing is a plus.
