About the position

Kforce has a client in Mountain View, CA that is seeking a Marketing Operations Manager IV. This role is pivotal in managing complex high-volume web projects and ensuring the efficient execution of web marketing operations. The Marketing Operations Manager IV will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring that all marketing initiatives align with the company's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in web project management, with a focus on web marketing operations and engineering project management. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to achieving project objectives, even in challenging circumstances. The Marketing Operations Manager IV will work closely with internal teams and external vendors, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships. The role involves leading large meetings in a scrum environment and motivating team members to achieve project goals. The candidate should be comfortable with technical requirements and have a good understanding of design assets, particularly with tools like Figma. Additionally, experience with project management tools such as JIRA, QuickBase, and SmartSheets is highly desirable. This position also demands a strong organizational and analytical skill set, as the manager will be responsible for prioritizing a large workload of numerous projects and deadlines concurrently. The ability to adapt to changing business needs and work effectively with cross-functional teams is essential. The Marketing Operations Manager IV will also need to be available for occasional evening and weekend work due to the presence of the Product Development team in India and for special promotions or complex projects with fixed deadlines.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, computer science, or related field.
  • 7 years of experience in complex high-volume web project management, web marketing operation, or engineering project management.
  • Strong creative problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in a web channel with testing methodologies.
  • Understanding of Figma and design assets.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JS.
  • Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Experience as a web producer or product manager in a web channel.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in web content management capabilities and standard methodologies, including WordPress.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with JIRA, QuickBase, and SmartSheets is a plus.
