About the position

The Marketing Operations Manager at Mutual of Omaha Mortgage is responsible for enhancing the efficiency and strategic direction of the marketing team through effective project management, budget oversight, and marketing analytics. This role involves managing various marketing technologies and systems, ensuring data quality, and optimizing performance to support the company's mortgage products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Five9 platforms and interactions between all.
  • Run monthly marketing operating reviews with the marketing team, presenting progress against KPIs/goals, campaigns, and project status.
  • Manage the website in terms of functionality and improvements.
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators.
  • Analyze data, assess trends, and optimize performance.
  • Maintain Salesforce database quality.
  • Support email nurture campaigns and build distribution lists in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Investigate new marketing technologies.
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring the marketing team tracks all spending and alerts the team to any over/underspending.
  • Develop a monthly dashboard of metrics/KPI tracking, with insights into trends and a post-mortem on any increasing or decreasing metrics.
  • Run weekly marketing meetings using Basecamp as the reference point, encouraging accountability to update all projects and keep everyone on track.
  • Forecast, measure, analyze, and report channel and program performance and their impact on marketing and sales funnel conversion rates, sales pipeline, revenue, and sales cycle length.
  • Develop SOPs for major marketing processes, and ensure they are kept up to date.
  • Organize and maintain clear file structures for the marketing organization.
  • Evaluate and manage marketing vendors and contractors.
  • Maintain knowledge of how all Marketing and technology systems work together to ensure a clean, smooth flow of data and that all required metrics are captured.
  • Understand and monitor the costs of marketing activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of marketing operations experience.
  • Experience with WordPress (required).
  • Experience with Salesforce (required).
  • Experience with Five9 (preferred; not required).
  • Experience with reporting and analytics.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team-centric attitude.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Highly developed attention to detail.
  • Experience with marketing automation, budgeting, and project management platforms.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data with accuracy.
