The Marketing Operations Manager at MVF plays a crucial role in leading a team responsible for optimizing the delivery of leads to clients. This position is situated within the Marketing Ops Team, which is a commercial function that oversees the entire lead generation funnel. The team is tasked with ensuring that clients achieve optimal performance from the leads provided, which in turn encourages them to increase their budgets. The Marketing Operations Manager will lead a region or subsector sub-team, focusing on seizing opportunities and prioritizing tasks to meet gross profit targets. This role requires a strategic mindset to define team activities, clarify responsibilities, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of services while continuously seeking improvements in campaign and team performance. In this role, the Marketing Operations Manager will be responsible for managing a team of 3-5 marketing operations executives, depending on the size of the region or subsector. The manager will conduct one-on-one meetings with team members to coach them on effective campaign management, identify issues, and explore opportunities for growth. They will also take ownership of key milestones within the marketing operations roadmap, ensuring successful implementation across various stakeholders. Communication is key, as the manager will relay the sector's commercial plan to their team, ensuring that the right initiatives are prioritized. Additionally, the Marketing Operations Manager will coordinate meetings with sales teams, individual marketing teams, and the contact center to analyze performance, surface opportunities, and address any issues that arise. They will develop and share processes, tools, and techniques to enhance the accuracy of work and workflow management. Working closely with the Head of Marketing, the manager will maintain an organized structure for their region or subsector, ensuring adequate resourcing and effective onboarding for new team members. Setting SMART objectives for marketing executives will be essential to guide their progress and align with the overall strategy. The manager will also be responsible for developing subcategory strategies to ensure long-term gross profit for MVF and client success, reviewing and scoring deep-dives and disposition reports to maintain high analysis quality.
