About the position

The Marketing Operations Manager is a critical role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the management and execution of marketing data operations. This position is designed for a talented individual who can serve as a subject matter expert in available marketing data within the Customer Data Platform (CDP). The Marketing Operations Manager will partner with various marketing channels to assess and plan for new data needs, ensuring that the data onboarding teams prioritize the necessary marketing data for upcoming campaigns. This role requires a deep understanding of the data onboarding processes and the technologies involved, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across departments to ensure data is onboarded correctly and efficiently. In addition to data management, the Marketing Operations Manager will be responsible for building marketing audiences accurately and on schedule for campaign launches across multiple channels. This includes tracking the creation of data onboarding and clearly communicating the status of available audiences, planned audiences, and any risks associated with execution timelines. The successful candidate will need to effectively identify risks, communicate them to relevant stakeholders, escalate issues as necessary, and drive them to resolution. The role also involves partnering with stakeholders to define business strategies that leverage existing capabilities while identifying gaps that may need to be addressed in the product roadmap. This position is a contract opportunity with long-term potential, located in San Diego, CA, and offers a hybrid work environment. The pay range for this position is between $50 and $56 per hour, with employee benefits that include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), a 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave, depending on the work location.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert of available marketing data in the Customer Data Platform (CDP).
  • Partner with marketing channels to plan for new data needs and ensure data onboarding teams prioritize marketing data for campaigns.
  • Build marketing audiences accurately and on schedule for campaign launches across multiple channels.
  • Understand the data onboarding processes and collaborate across departments to onboard data as needed.
  • Project manage and track execution of marketing audiences and data requirements.
  • Track data onboarding creation and communicate available audiences, planned audiences, and risks to execution timelines.
  • Identify risks, communicate, escalate, and drive them to closure.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define business strategies that leverage existing capabilities and identify gaps for product roadmap consideration.

Requirements

  • Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP).
  • Proficiency in audience segmentation and campaign management.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a relevant field.
