About the position

The Operations Manager will lead and oversee a globally distributed team of marketing platform specialists at Apple, ensuring the smooth delivery of high-quality web and email campaigns. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize online presence and drive successful marketing initiatives, all while maintaining Apple's commitment to privacy and customer value in digital advertising.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee operational setup and delivery of all web and email campaigns across multiple languages.
  • Lead and develop a distributed team of platforms specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, training, and performance feedback.
  • Apply project management tools and agile techniques to coordinate teams and tasks effectively.
  • Develop detailed project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations, ensuring timely delivery within project constraints.
  • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of error-free web and email content across applications.
  • Foster strong communication channels within the cross-functional team, including marketing, design, content, and technology teams.
  • Collaborate closely with partners to understand campaign requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Partner with Platforms Project team to develop and complete digital evolution roadmaps.
  • Support analytics teams on campaign reporting.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and standard processes in web development, content management, and email marketing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 7+ years of experience in web and email production management for a global technology business.
  • 5+ years management experience leading and developing a globally distributed operational team.
  • Experience with online marketing platforms (CMS, CDM, CRM, Email, Event, Learning).
  • Proficiency in web languages: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with SEO and Accessibility standards.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Deep understanding of data models, segmentation, SQL, data workflows, and interfaces.
  • Adobe Experience Manager and Email Marketing Service Provider (Salesforce, Adobe, Zeta Global, Emarsys) expertise a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to constant change and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fantastic time management skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
