About the position

The Marketing Operations (MarkOps) Manager will lead the Marketing Operations team, focusing on optimizing processes, building reporting frameworks, and enhancing marketing automation to support Addepar's growth. This role requires a strategic and tactical approach to drive marketing success through innovative automation solutions and effective team leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Marketing Operations team, focusing on people, process, and tools.
  • Manage the marketing tech stack to ensure smooth data flow and integration, generating insights for strategic decisions.
  • Align processes, technology, and people to create efficient operations across the marketing organization.
  • Drive the implementation and optimization of marketing automation strategies to enhance processes and increase productivity.
  • Collaborate with performance marketing, product marketing, and sales/client leadership to implement and report on the lifecycle of prospects and customers.
  • Calibrate Addepar's leads process, including lead lifecycle, enrichment, quality, privacy, marketability, matching, scoring, routing, and conversion rate optimization.
  • Document the data infrastructure for accurate and scalable attribution and measurement.
  • Develop and maintain reporting systems to identify key touchpoints for improving conversion rates.
  • Oversee and execute multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Evaluate, select, and integrate third-party and internal tools, ensuring seamless functionality.
  • Ensure compliance with Infosec policies and communication governance standards.
  • Drive marketing roadmap and sprint planning, supporting campaign strategy and participating in business reviews.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of related experience in role and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 4+ years and a Master's degree.
  • 4+ years of experience with Marketo, focusing on Marketo-to-Salesforce integrations, with deep expertise in managing lead workflows.
  • 2+ years of experience leading a hybrid/remote team, with proven ability to hire, develop, and train high-performing individuals.
  • Proactive and solution-driven mindset, with a passion for delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience in managing teams and building high-performing marketing operations teams, focusing on mentorship and collaboration.
  • Success in scaling or improving lead management processes, including lifecycle management, lead scoring, routing, and conversion rate optimization.
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing processes and best practices, along with associated metrics.
  • Extensive knowledge of Salesforce campaign hierarchies, campaign attribution methodologies, and executive dashboard builds.
  • Experience leading projects that span multiple teams and systems, ensuring successful cross-functional collaboration.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $102,000 - $159,000, plus bonus and equity.
