About the position

The Specialist, Marketing Operations plays a crucial role in supporting the Seismic sales enablement platform for users within the Pharma Services group. This position is designed to enhance the user experience for various stakeholders, including Sales, Business Development, Marketing, and Site colleagues. Reporting directly to the Manager of Marketing Communications, the Specialist will leverage their expertise in Seismic to provide comprehensive support to the Pharma Services Commercial team. The role requires a proactive approach to managing the platform, ensuring that it remains intuitive and efficient for all users while maintaining high-quality content production. In this position, the Specialist will be responsible for daily management of the Seismic platform, which includes providing technical support and resolving any issues that arise. They will review user requests and grant access in accordance with established guidelines, ensuring that all users can effectively utilize the platform. The Specialist will also address content-related inquiries and collaborate with content authors to resolve any issues that may arise. Staying current with the latest capabilities of the Seismic platform is essential, as the Specialist will be expected to make recommendations for business use cases and prioritize adoption strategies. Collaboration is key in this role, as the Specialist will work closely with PSG Sales Operations and Training teams to enhance the integration and usage of Seismic in alignment with commercial objectives. They will also be responsible for making necessary adjustments to the PSG Seismic site, including building new pages and widgets to meet user needs. Analyzing user engagement metrics and content health will be part of the Specialist's responsibilities, providing insights that drive optimization and improve overall user experience. Additionally, the Specialist will develop learning content and user guides to assist colleagues in maximizing their understanding of the Seismic platform. Regular content audits will be conducted to ensure that all materials are up-to-date, and the Specialist will track updates to ensure compliance. Supporting the Manager of Marketing Communications with Sales team engagement initiatives will also be part of the role, along with managing other projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Seismic platform on a daily basis, ensuring an intuitive, efficient and high quality experience for users and content producers; provide technical support and problem resolution.
  • Review requests and grant access for users in alignment with established parameters.
  • Handle requests and input from users on the Seismic site and content. Ensure content issues are addressed by relevant authors.
  • Build deep expertise in the platform and stay current with new capabilities. Make recommendations for business use cases and adoption priorities.
  • Perform as the key interface with the Seismic customer success manager.
  • Collaborate with PSG Sales Operations and Training as needed to improve, integrate and advance usage of Seismic in alignment with Commercial priorities and initiatives.
  • Make adjustments to the PSG Seismic site, build new pages and widgets as needed to address business/user needs.
  • Conduct analysis of user engagement metrics, search queries, content health, and other metrics. Provide insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Develop learning content and user guides to support colleagues in improving their understanding of how to use Seismic.
  • Support upload of content to Seismic. Conduct regular content audits and alert authors of the need for updates. Track to ensure updates are completed.
  • Support the Manager, Marketing Communications as needed with Sales team engagement to increase usage and value creation.
  • Manage and complete other projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or related area
  • 3-5 years work experience including 2+ years marketing and/or sales operations experience in a complex/technical business to business industry
  • Two years experience providing administrative support for Seismic
  • Strong organizational skills; able to work on multiple priorities at the same time
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Self-directed with strong time management, planning, and prioritization skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to thrive in a virtual team environment
  • Adept at learning new systems
