About the position

We are seeking a Marketing Operations Specialist based in Ames, Iowa. This role is in the service industry and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. The Marketing Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting various cross-functional teams in campaign planning, execution, optimization, and measurement across our marketing tech stack. This position is integral to ensuring that marketing programs are executed flawlessly and that data attribution is accurately maintained across the organization. As a key member of the Marketing Automation Team, the specialist will be responsible for implementing an Account Scoring attribution model in Marketo, managing database health and hygiene, and collaborating with the Data Science and Marketing Ops Data team to implement app user restrictions. Additionally, the role involves assisting in the integration of Hubspot workflows into Marketo and conducting market share, win/loss, and campaign analysis to provide valuable insights to teams across all solutions. The specialist will oversee the operational aspects of the company's marketing campaign efforts, from campaign logic and testing to execution, utilizing multiple data sets to derive actionable insights for various teams. The position requires managing projects through all stages, including conception, implementation, and wrap-up, while leveraging a strong analytics and KPI-driven background to optimize campaign performance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure flawless execution of programs and data attribution across the marketing organization as a key member of the Marketing Automation Team.
  • Implement an Account Scoring attribution model in Marketo.
  • Manage database health and hygiene, including field management/database size and ongoing deletion.
  • Collaborate with the Data Science and Marketing Ops Data team to implement app user restrictions.
  • Assist in the integration of Hubspot workflows into Marketo.
  • Conduct market share, win/loss, campaign analysis, and provide valuable insights to teams across all solutions.
  • Oversee operational aspects of the company's marketing campaign efforts from campaign logic and testing to execution.
  • Utilize multiple data sets to provide valuable insights for various teams.

  • Leverage strong analytics and KPI-driven background to optimize campaign performance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar marketing operations role within the service industry
  • Proven expertise in Backend Development
  • Proficiency in using Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Familiarity with Database Management
  • Knowledge and experience with eBay platform
  • Proven track record in executing successful AB Testing
  • Ability to create and manage Advertisements across various platforms
  • Strong understanding of Analytics tools and ability to derive actionable insights from data
  • Experience in building and enhancing Brand Awareness
  • Strong experience in Campaign Planning and execution
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field is preferred.
