About the position

The Marketing Performance Specialist at UHA is responsible for optimizing marketing strategies through data analysis and reporting. This role involves developing metrics, evaluating data for marketing implementation, and monitoring industry trends to enhance UHA's market position. The specialist will work closely with the marketing team to produce insightful reports that guide continuous improvement in marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and refine data reporting strategies to optimize marketing initiatives and programs.
  • Produce clear, concise reports presenting context, findings, and recommendations for marketing strategies.
  • Analyze customer journey data, market research, and competitive landscape.
  • Oversee performance metrics for digital and traditional media, including advertising and community outreach.
  • Manage the marketing database and coordinate email campaigns.
  • Facilitate UHA's Voice of Constituent program to enhance customer experience.
  • Integrate and optimize marketing platforms and systems, training staff on MarTech applications.
  • Support the demand generation team in planning and executing digital campaigns, monitoring outcomes.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and assess UHA's product portfolio for improvement opportunities.
  • Participate in company-sponsored events and assist in other marketing areas as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • At least 4 years' experience in data analytics and reporting in a marketing organization.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Mailchimp.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing metrics and best practices related to SEO and Google Analytics.
  • Experience leading and training team members in data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Marketing experience in the health insurance or healthcare industry.
  • Experience in an in-house marketing department or corporate environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with website content management systems like WordPress.
  • Experience with market research tools and survey platforms like Qualtrics.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Experience in direct/targeted B2B marketing.
