About the position
The Marketing Planning & Strategy Manager at Salesforce plays a crucial role in supporting the Marketing Planning and Strategy team by developing and operationalizing automated reporting processes that enhance the marketing organization. This position is essential for the dynamic growth of the business, focusing on the design, standardization, and harmonization of data across internal systems. The individual will be responsible for building reports for marketing leadership, tracking return on investment, and ensuring efficient spend management.
Responsibilities
- Manage Monthly Business Review reporting, agendas, and stakeholder updates for the Chief Marketing Officer and extended leadership team.
- Drive alignment between marketing operations and marketing performance teams to capture and map relevant data to budget management systems.
- Prioritize marketing reporting enhancements, data requests, and system requirements from marketing stakeholders.
- Create dashboards and standardized reports using internal platforms to effectively track key metrics for consolidated marketing reporting.
Requirements
- Certified Salesforce Administrator
- 5 years of experience in Marketing Operations, Analytics, and/or Business Operations
- Proficient in SQL with the ability to write queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data
- Experience with Salesforce CRM and native Salesforce reporting
- Detail-oriented, proactive problem solver with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in fast-paced environments
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with worldwide teams
Nice-to-haves
- Proficient in Tableau desktop or similar data visualization tool
- Salesforce Administrator and Tableau certification
