About The Position

The Marketing & PR Manager at Bang & Olufsen will serve as a key link between regional and head office marketing functions and local channels in California. This role focuses on developing tailored marketing and PR activities, managing the marketing budget, and executing multi-channel campaigns to enhance brand awareness and customer engagement in the luxury audio market.

Requirements

  • Holistic experience across marketing and PR in the California market, specifically representing a luxury lifestyle brand.
  • Master's degree in marketing, communication or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns in high-end / luxury environment.
  • Experience managing PR agency.
  • Experience managing partnership and co-activations with high-end / luxury brands.
  • Good project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with an eye for creativity.
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools.
  • Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy.
  • Established press and media contacts.

Responsibilities

  • Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific targets across different channels (retail and B2B).
  • Conceptualize and execute multi-channel campaigns ensuring alignment of communications and messaging across all channels.
  • Oversee the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.
  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build effective strategies.
  • Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies.
  • Work in partnership with the creative team, developing creative briefs and guiding creative direction for all advertising and public-facing communications.
  • Manage the entire Marketing budget for California, ensuring effective allocation of budget in line with strategy and seamless execution of all marketing & PR initiatives.
  • Supervise PR agency and develop relationships with journalists and influencers.
  • Gather customer and market insights to inform customer acquisition strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads.
  • Measure the effectiveness and impact of marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis and optimize accordingly.
