About the position

The Marketing Product Manager will drive product value proposition design for the 3pp Games Xbox Marketing Team, focusing on enhancing monetization strategies and optimizing revenue. This role involves managing marketing analysis, predicting consumer behavior, and collaborating with marketing to improve player retention and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Manage real-time information driving marketing analysis to inform decisions and adjust strategies quickly.
• Investigate assumptions using current sales and engagement data to predict consumer behavior and collaborate on marketing strategies.
• Develop new opportunities to optimize revenue, engagement, and retention by analyzing player trends and enhancing catalog content promotion.
• Measure success by providing reports on gameplay engagement and revenue metrics to improve resource allocation for promotional planning.
• Identify new opportunities for enhancing engagement and revenue through trend analysis.
• Work with key stakeholders to align engineering solutions with business strategies.
• Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses for marketing spend decisions.
• Resolve problems and capitalize on process improvement opportunities within marketing functions.
• Work on multiple projects as a team member and serve as a liaison between the marketing community and engineering organization.

• 5 years experience with data analysis
• 5 years experience with negotiation and communication
• 5 years experience with organization
• Ability to create marketing strategies that increase competitive advantage
• Project management skills to handle diverse projects and meet aggressive deadlines
• Ability to analyze complex situations and research innovative solutions for the marketing team
• Experience in the gaming industry and working with publishers to contribute to Xbox's success
• Basic knowledge of report structures to create comprehensive marketing reports
• Ability to increase operating efficiency with high-quality process solutions
• High level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
